Dr. Wen-Yu Cheng, Mandarin- and English-speaking psychologist and Jungian analyst in Seattle

HOME  /  ABOUT

Background & Credentials

I am a licensed psychologist in Washington State (PSYPACT), working in Mandarin, English, and Taiwanese. My training brings together three disciplines, Jungian analysis, Hakomi, and neuropsychology, so that the mind, the body, and the brain each have a place in our work.

These perspectives are often kept apart. Here, there is room for how the brain works as well as for dreams, meaning, and what the body carries, in the language and culture most natural to you. I hope to help you understand what is happening within and find a way forward that feels like your own.

Dr. Wen-Yu Cheng logo: moon, river path and a leafy neuron branch

THE LIVING MANDALA

The circle holds the journey toward wholeness. Moon, mountains, water, and path evoke the inner landscape; leaves speak to growth and the living body. As the branches reach beyond the circle, they become neurons—where nature meets neuroscience. The circle evokes the Self: a wholeness larger than the conscious ego, already present yet continually unfolding, becoming more deeply known and lived along the way.
