MEET DR. CHENG
I’m Dr. Wen-Yu Cheng, a licensed psychologist, Jungian analyst, neuropsychologist, and certified Hakomi therapist and teacher. I work with individuals, couples, families, clinicians, and organizations, helping each find a way forward that fits who they are becoming.
My work brings together what is often kept apart: depth psychology for the inner life, mindful body-centered work for what the body holds, and neuroscience for how the brain shapes mood, memory, and thinking. I write about how they meet in Mindful Imagination. New to Jungian analysis? Start with What Is Jungian Analysis, and Is It Right for Me?

TOWARD WHOLENESS
Therapy is not only about fixing or coping with problems.
Carl Gustav Jung, the Swiss psychiatrist who founded analytical psychology, developed the theory of psychological types on which the widely known MBTI was later built. He saw the psyche as always moving toward wholeness. With a professional companion, therapy becomes a way to see and integrate your strengths, blind spots, and shadow.
